24 Core Fiber Optic Cable

24 Core Fiber Optic Cable

In the structure of 24-core fiber optic cable is mainly divided into outdoor and indoor two types of structure. Outdoor cores are mainly center bundle tube type and laminated type two types, generally more commonly used is laminated type, because the laminated type to accommodate a larger number of cores, and protection performance is better than the center bundle tube type. (Center bundle tube type is located in the center of the fiber optic cable, using no paste filling, double steel wire reinforced structure; laminated type is a form of fiber around the center of the structure of the reinforcing member.) Indoor type is mainly in the bundle structure (model is GJFJV)

Description

24 Core Fiber Optic Cable

The fibers, 200/250μm,are positioned in a loose tube made of a high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. A steel wire, sometimes sheathed with polyethylene (PE) for cable with high fiber count, locates in the center of core as a metallic strength member. Tubes (and fillers) are stranded around the strength member into a compact and circular cable core. An Aluminum Polyethylene Laminate (APL) is applied around the cable core, which is filled with the filling compound to protect it from water ingress. Then, the cable is completed with a PE sheath.

Features:

·Good mechanical and temperature performance

·High strength loose tube that is hydrolysis resistant

·Special tube filling compound ensure a critical protection of fiber

·Specially designed compact structure is good at preventing loose tubes from shrinking

·PE sheath protects cable from ultraviolet radiation

·To assure the water-proof function by:

·Single steel wire as central strength member

·Special tube filling compound ensure a critical protection of fiber

·Fully filled in the cable

·APL layer
