12 Core Fiber Optic Cable

12-core fiber optic cable is a communication cable with 12 optical fibers (silica and quartz glass composition) built in. It has various types of structures and two transmission modes, and is a widely used communication cable. In the structure of 12-core fiber optic cable is mainly divided into outdoor and indoor two types of structure. Outdoor cores are mainly center bundle tube type and laminated stranded two types, generally more commonly used is laminated stranded type, because the laminated stranded type to accommodate a larger number of cores, and the protection performance is better than the center bundle tube type. (Center bundle tube type is located in the center of the fiber optic cable, the use of grease filling, double steel wire reinforced structure; laminated type is a form of fiber around the center of the reinforcement structure.) Indoor type is mainly in the bundle structure (model is GJFJV)

Features:

*Fibers, 250μm, are positioned in a loose tube made of a high modulus plastic.

*Tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound.

*Tube is wrapped with a layer of corrugated steel tape longitudinally. Between the corrugated

*Steel tapeand the loose tube water-blocking material is applied to keep the cable compact and watertight.

*Two parallel steel wires are placed at the two sides of the steel tape.

*The cable is completed with PE sheath.
